Criminal records have three parts: defendant information, case information and charge
and sentencing information. The defendant information displays the name, address (as of
the arraignment), the DOB, race and sex of the defendant, and a driver's license number
and state (where available).
Case information displays the court location and docket number, the date of arrest and the
identity of the arresting agency (local police force, etc.). For pending cases, the date and time
of the next scheduled hearing is displayed. The status of the case is also displayed, along with
the date sentence was declared.
The charge and sentencing information section lists all counts entered against the defendant.
Entry of a guilty verdict on any surviving count makes all counts discloseable. The charge record
displays the original offense (statutory section and short description) plus its type (felony/
misdemeanor) and class (Class A, B, etc.). The record also displays sentencing information, any
suspended time or time served, and the duration of any probationary period imposed.
